2022 Mountaineering Committee Nomination Period is OPEN!

Hello AMC Boston Chapter Climbing Community!

Every December the AMC Boston Chapter Mountaineering Committee votes on a new slate of team members to oversee planning and production of the great activities we all participate in throughout the year.  

If you have a passion for supporting our local climbing community and are looking for a way to make a substantial impact in 2022, this is your chance to get involved!  

Here are the exciting roles available for nominations:

  • Chairperson 

  • Vice Chairperson

  • Secretary

  • Treasurer

  • Director, Community Infrastructure

  • Director, Community Outreach

  • Director, Community Partnerships

  • Director, Community Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

  • Director, Community Social Activities

  • Director, Community Climbing Activities

  • Director, Community Educational Activities

  • Director, Community Instructional Programs

  • Director, Rock Program

  • Director, SendHers Program

  • Member at Large

Nominations for the full slate of seats are accepted from November 1 to November 30.  Voting occurs at the December Mountaineering Committee meeting.  

You may nominate anyone, including yourself, for any seat.  Both you and the indicated nominee must be current AMC members in good standing in order for the nomination to be accepted.  All committee members must be current AMC members in good standing in order to serve on the Mountaineering Committee.
